Unique and Tactile

Each ceramic item is individually handcrafted on the potter's wheel, some tools, and my hands. I make my own glazes, which is a combination of chemistry knowledge and a lot of experimentation.

I am particularly drawn to 'special effect' glazes, where there is a chemical reaction encouraged by my choice of materials. Therefore each piece is unique and the variables change based on many factors, for example, the thickness of the glaze, or the position of the work in the kiln.
